What FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001:2015 Actually Mean for Your Kitchen

Certifications can start to look like a logo wall, collected and displayed without much thought to what any of them actually verify. Here's what each one on our packaging really guarantees.

ISO 9001:2015: process discipline, not a check done just once

ISO 9001:2015 means our processes, from sourcing to packaging, are consistently managed and audited to meet an international quality standard. It's not a single inspection passed once; it's an ongoing audit trail.

FSSC 22000: the standard retailers actually check for

FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) is one of the most widely recognised food safety certifications globally. It confirms our food safety practices meet standards accepted by retailers and food businesses worldwide, which is often the first document an international buyer asks for.

BIS IS:7224 and FSSAI: the Indian baseline

BIS IS:7224 is the Bureau of Indian Standards' official specification for edible common salt. Meeting it means our salt meets India's defined standards for purity and safety. FSSAI registration means we're inspected and authorised by India's food safety regulator to manufacture and sell food grade salt.

  • ISO 9001:2015: quality management system, audited continuously
  • FSSC 22000: globally recognised food safety certification
  • BIS IS:7224: India's official edible salt specification
  • FSSAI: India's food safety regulator registration
  • ICCIDD Endorsement: independent review of our iodisation process
  • Halal Certified: verified by an accredited certifying body

Why we chose to stack all of them

No single certification covers everything an international buyer, a domestic retailer, and a health regulator each care about. Holding all six means we don't ask a buyer to take our word for it. There's a document behind every claim.
